Kashmiri Pink Tea | Noon Chai
Kashmiri Pink Tea
Product Overview
Traditionally known as Noon Chai, Kashmiri Pink Tea is one of Kashmir’s most distinctive and beloved beverages. Recognised for its beautiful pink colour, creamy texture, and rich flavour, this traditional tea has been enjoyed in Kashmiri households for generations and continues to hold an important place in the region’s food culture.
Prepared using carefully selected traditional tea leaves, Kashmiri Pink Tea develops its signature colour and flavour through a unique brewing process. When combined with milk and a small amount of baking soda, the tea gradually transforms into its characteristic rosy-pink shade while developing a smooth, rich, and full-bodied taste.
Traditionally served warm with a touch of salt, Noon Chai is commonly enjoyed at breakfast, during evening gatherings, at family occasions, and throughout the cold winter months of Kashmir. For a richer experience, it can also be garnished with crushed almonds or pistachios.
More than just a traditional drink, Kashmiri Pink Tea represents the warmth, hospitality, and culinary heritage of Kashmir. Each cup brings together flavour, tradition, and a beverage culture that has been passed down through generations.
Our Kashmiri Pink Tea is free from artificial colours and preservatives, allowing you to prepare an authentic cup of Noon Chai at home.
